Argar Culture (1800-1300 B. C.)
Without drastic rupture, although with remarkable city-planning evolution, the culture of the Argar appears, to replace the one of the Millares.
These settlers were characterized by manufacture and ordered commercialization of the mineral deposits, advances in farming techniques, the routes of communication and profits of social and border organization. They do not exist in necrópolis, because they happened to bury individually to his deads in cistas or “Pithoi” (pithos). In the region of Níjar have been discovered deposits in the Marchal de Inox and the Hill of the Stiff ones, in the town of the Molatilla near Las Negras, in Hortichuelas and wax, Alhamilla Mountain range, hill of the Ray and the hill of Enmedio. It now appears the square plant in the house, coexisting with circulating in which it seems a mixture of traditions of doubtful explanation.
Again, the mines determined the location of this culture. Its center was now more to the North, between valleys of the rivers Antas, Aguas and Almanzora, within the province of Almeria, although was developed mainly in Murcia, Alicante and the south of Albacete.
By the end of II the milleniumm B.C. disappears ,by gradual exhaustion, the Argárico world and the region begins the final period of the Age of the Bronze, receiving numerous influences that arrive from the inside region. The main one will come from the kingdom of Tartesos, in the opening of the Guadalquivir. In the year 1000 B. C., the civilizations outposts of the Mediterranean East initiated their marine expansion – commercial towards the limits of the well-known world.
